Word has nice size, strength and a good frame. He played fullback last year because he was behind two senior halfbacks and his coach wanted to get him on the field. He will start at halfback this year. Word is a hard nosed runner and fights for extra yards. He has good ball security. He needs to work on his agility and his speed. He has to determine when to make a move and when to run someone over.
